Bi Luo Chun is a famous green tea originally grown in the Dong Ting mountain of Tai Hu, Jiangsu Province, China. Also known as Pi Lo Chun, it is renowned for its delicate appearance, fruity taste, floral aroma, showy white hairs and early cropping.
Bi Luo Chun literally means "Green Conch Spring".
It is called so because it is a green tea that is rolled into a tight spiral, resembling conch meat, and is cropped early spring.
Its original name is scarily fragrant. Legend tells of its discovery by a tea picker who ran out of space in her basket, and put the tea between her breasts instead. The tea, warmed by her body heat, emitted a strong aroma that surprised the girl. Since then, the tea were picked by women who washed before picking the tea and placed all the tea between their breasts.
According to the Qing Dynasty chronicle Ye Shi Da Guan, Emperor Kangxi visited TaiHu in the 38th year of his rule. At that time, because of its rich aroma, local people called it Xia Sha Ren Xiang or Scary Fragrance.
Kangxi decided to give it a more civilised name - Bi Luo Chun.
Chinese tea experts regard it very highly. Zhen Jun (1857 to 1918 A.D.), author of tea encyclopedia Cha Shuo, ranked it first among Chinese green tea. Longjing tea came second, Liu An Gua Pian came third.
It is so delicate and tender that one kilogram of Dong Ting Bi Luo Chun has 14,000 to 15,000 tea shoots.
Today, Bi Lo Chun is cultivated in Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province and Sichuan Province. The most esteemd Bi Luo Chun is still to be found in the Dong Ting Mountain.

Jinan is a historical city with a history of some 2000 years and is famed for its numerous relics. It is the cradle of the Longshan Relics Culture, the reputed prehistoric culture of China and is found in Longshan Town of Jinan, hence the name. In the area of Jinan, you will find far more than you would expect, the ancient Great Wall of the Qi State (a state of the Zhou Dynasty (770B.C. – 221B.C.)), the colored sculptures of the Song Dynasty (960-1279) in the Lingyan Temple and so on.
Jinan is known as the "Spring City" because of the large number of springs in the city. The majority of springs, known historically as the "72 Famous Springs" are concentrated in the downtown district and flow north to converge in Daming Lake. High on the must-see list is the Baotu Spring Park, where the Baotu Spring and many other smaller springs nearby have been a major attraction for tourists for many years.

When the Manchu established and ruled China in the Qing Dynasty, certain social strata emerged. Among them were the Banners (qí), mostly Manchu, who as a group were called Banner People ( pinyin: qí rén). Manchu women typically wore a one-piece dress that came to be known as the qípáo (banner quilt). The qipao fitted loosely and hung straight down the body. Under the dynastic laws after 1644, all Han Chinese were forced to wear a queue and dress in Manchurian qipao instead of traditional Han Chinese clothing , under penalty of death. In the following 300 years, the qipao became the adopted clothing of the Chinese and was eventually tailored to suit the preferences of the population. Such was its popularity that the garment form survived the political turmoil of the 1911 Xinhai Revolution that toppled the Qing Dynasty. The qipao after several centuries, became the archetypal dress for China.

Xin Yang Mao Jian is considered one of the ten best Chinese teas with over 2 thousand years of history. Mao Jian literally means "hairy tips" referring to the appearance of the tea leaves. The brewed tea is pale-gold in colour and has a grassy fragrance with a sweet, long lasting aftertaste.

Shijiazhuang is a relatively new city, whose main growth began in the 1950s, but really dates to the 1920s. What was a tiny village of little more than ninety families found itself at the junction of three major rail lines and thereafter its growth soared. Once it became so large, but the name still retains the character for "village" (zhuang). English speakers are known to have a notorious bad pronunciation of the city's name, therefore most people refer to Shijiazhuang as "Shi-City" or the "S-City".
